We remind you of the changes made to the Government Decree No. 635-r dated March 16, 2020.
Denmark was included in the list of foreign countries whose citizens and persons who have documents confirming permanent residence in which can enter Russia from these states through air checkpoints across the state border.
It means that Danish citizens and persons permanently residing in Denmark can apply to the Consular Section for any category of visas and then enter Russia by air. At the same time, we draw your attention to the fact that foreign citizens are still required to have a negative PCR test for coronavirus when crossing the border.
Electronic visas to Russia are still not issued. One can get visa only in physical (paper) form.
Due to the suspension of the Visa Application Center, all visa applications should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in Denmark. Submission of applications is possible only by appointment, except for the cases listed in June 2021 in the previous message in the same section.
Given the number of applications submitted, we strongly recommend the applicants to submit documents for a visa well in advance of the trip to Russia.
