Dear Applicants! Please note that from 01 July 2021 the Visa Application Center

Starting from July 01, 2021, all visa applications must be submitted directly to the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in Denmark by appointment through the electronic appointment system. Appointments for July and the following months will be opened with a significant increase in the number of appointment "windows" for visa issues.

Only the following categories of applicants will be accepted without an appointment: issuance of ordinary private visas for the purpose of a trip "special case" (death, serious illness of a close relative: father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter); issuance of service, diplomatic and other types of visas upon the relevant direct instructions of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Please note that the entry of foreign citizens into the Russian Federation is currently restricted. Not all categories of visas can be issued, and not all visas can be used to enter Russia. Check out the latest version of the Government Decree No. 635-r, March 16, 2020, which contains a list of categories of foreign citizens who can apply for a visa and enter Russia.

Also pay attention to the sanitary and epidemiological restrictions on entry to Russia. When crossing the Russian border foreign citizens and stateless persons are required to have a negative test result for coronavirus infection, taken no later than 72 hours of the moment of crossing the border. In other words, the test is valid for 72 hours and must still be valid at the time of the border crossing. For other coronavirus regulations, see the COVID-19 Information section.

Visas are not issued by mail. One can submit documents and pick-up visa only in person. Registration of documents through intermediaries (tourist / visa bureaus) is also not performed; the personal appearance of the applicant is required, with the exception of children under 12 years old.

Documents should be provided in the presence of their complete set; incorrectly collected documents are returned to the applicant.

Only bank cards of the Danish national payment system "Dankort" are accepted for payment in the terminal in the Consular Section,. Cash is not accepted.
